LA Deal Prices are a way for local media to partner with our platform
With the LA Deal Prices comes some big changes but along with it comes some options to some traditional things that we all have taken for granted, like newspapers.
Local news has been with us for all our lives and it has served a great purpose in being the early social network keeping us informed of local and international news.
As we progressed through the last decade there was always this feeling that we can discard the old and replace it with great new things like reading news online and buying items online.
Sure we all are wanting things easier and faster but one of the key things that we all still like to do is window shop and sometimes just getting away from it all with a newspaper.
Traditionally local businesses where we can physically go and touch and ask questions at the store is still a good connection we all enjoy and these local businesses large and small affect us all where we live, the local business community always will be that connection we have with each other.
Activity of local people within a smaller physical environment directly affects the local economy and our lives, and local newspapers have traditionally been a central source of combining it all together by letting us know what's happening.
ComTechX has kept an opening to include local newspapers and media as they already have the inbuilt mechanics and ground knowledge of the community, and what we have starting are partnerships where local businesses and newspapers can join with us on the ComTechX platform to provide a full local content that can add to the local environment.
Integrating LA Deal Prices with Local Media - News
LA Deal Prices are based around local business and this connection can be merged with local newspaper and media groups by including local news feeds for local communities and directly to newspaper subscribers.
Most local media have a website presence where they are able to show digital form of the news and events and this can be where a marketing connection is added as another revenue stream with current readers both online and offline by capturing direct referral links to their readers who in turn will add to the volume of followers down 6 levels that potentially multiplies the revenue stream.
Traditionally the local newspaper model offered the outlet to display a local merchants goods and services to the community and got paid for the display regardless of how successful it was.
The LA Deal Price option offers a slightly different approach for the local merchant dealing with the local media with a set fee charged only on each successful sale, which is a percentage of the retail cost of the item.
If a business had a product or service with a retail price of $100.00 and the item sold in the LA Deal Prices for $15.00 then a 2.5% publisher's percentage of the $100.00 multiplied by the number of items sold would be paid.
This is "incentivized marketing"; in the LA Deal Prices there is an LAT (Location Activity Tax) deducted from the listed retail price (e.g. $100.00) that is received by the merchant at the end of the sell and this marketing is not necessarily based on major display spreads in the newspaper but via the Check-In displays that are on the ComTechX platform.
The incentive is directed to the local community who also earn a share of the marketing percentage set by the LA Deal Prices and on the seller's side the incentive is that the merchant will have a greater demand and sell higher volumes because of the chance to offer much lower prices.
ComTechX is offering local media the incentive of being part of a change to traditional local marketing by giving something fresh to merchants away from the type of marketing that has normally been offered.
Local media can also display the ComTechX Check-In display panels on their own websites to get a wider spread of readers and followers that can multiply exponentially through the effect of the "6 degrees of separation".
From being able to provide news articles newspapers or magazines can also use the LA Deal Prices to sell subscriptions to their traditional newspapers at more than 80% of the normal subscription cost and importantly the payment method is already solved with our direct internal payment system.
